Mr. Conteh is a Gambian, a journalist, and a development practitioner, who went to both the English and Arabic education systems in the Gambia. He also went through the Gambia College, and holds a degree in Development Studies from University of The Gambia (UTG) in 2024.
‎
‎He is an active member of the Gambia Press Union (GPU) and has close to 6 years of experience practicing journalism, having gone through a lot of capacity-building training meant for media practitioners in the Gambia. He also worked as a coordinator (representative in the Gambia) for a US-based non-profit organization, Washington West African Center.

‎
‎He is a compassionate, fair-minded, sports enthusiast, with a keen interest in international affairs (geopolitics).
