One of Gambia’s best legal reporters, Kemeseng Sanneh, also known as Kexx, is currently being held at the Kairaba Police Station after allegations of sexual offence involving a 17-year-old minor which resulted in pregnancy.
The Gambia Police Force has already confirmed Sanneh’s detention on Friday, adding that the victim has already given birth. According to the victim and her family, Kexx initially accepted his involvement but later denied.
While he is currently not charged with any offence, police say investigations into the matter are ongoing, and further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
