‎The update came as the Keur Massar Company’s Research Brigade, between 4th and 6th February 2026, dismantled a suspected network of same-sex practicers who are involved in the voluntary transmission of HIV/AIDS.

‎Among the detainees were the famous TV presenter, Pape Chiekh Diallo and popular singer Djiby Drame. As authorities deepen efforts to get to the crux of the matter, Diallo reportedly admitted being a homosexual when confronted with the evidence during his initial interrogation.

‎According to exclusive information Seneweb said they have obtained, he was cited as: “I do it against my will because it’s a habit of mine. I can’t break it anymore.”

‎All the 12 suspects have been charged with conspiracy, unnatural acts involving an intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS through unprotected sex, and endangering the lives of others.

‎Seneweb has stated that the current medical reports indicated eight of the detainees were infected with HIV/AIDS, and the suspects are expected to be brought before Saliou Dicko, a prosecutor and head of Pikine-Guediawaye prosecutor’s office on Monday.
